Polygon Learn Terms and Conditions

1. Introduction
Polygon Learn is an educational platform that provides courses and other resources for learning about Polygon blockchain technology, the Polygon ecosystem, and Web3 more broadly (the “Platform”). These Polygon Learn Terms and Conditions (these “Terms”), together with the Terms of Use (the “Terms of Use”) (collectively, the “Agreement”), govern use of the Platform and constitute a binding agreement between Polygon Labs UI (Cayman) Ltd. (together with its affiliates, “Polygon Labs,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) and you (“you” or “your”). If you are using the Platform on behalf of an entity, you represent that you have authority to act on behalf of that entity, and that such entity accepts this Agreement, in which case “you” or “your” (except as used in this sentence) will mean that entity. In the event of a conflict between the Terms of Use and these Terms, these Terms will prevail. Polygon Labs may make changes to these Terms from time to time. If we make changes, we will provide you with notice of such changes, such as by sending an email or updating the date at the top of these Terms. Unless we say otherwise in our notice, the amended Terms will be effective immediately.
When used in these Terms, “Content” means course modules, text, graphics, images, videos, audio recordings, data, or other materials, whether provided by you, Polygon Labs, or a third party.
BY CREATING AN ACCOUNT OR USING THE PLATFORM, YOU AGREE THAT YOU HAVE READ, UNDERSTOOD, AND AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THIS AGREEMENT. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE, PLEASE DO NOT CREATE AN ACCOUNT OR USE THE PLATFORM.
2. Access
Access to the Platform is free of charge to you. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue access to the Platform for any reason at any time without notice, liability, or further obligation to you.
3. Content
If you provide any Content to us in connection with your use of the Platform (“Your Content”), you give us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, fully paid-up, transferrable, sub-licensable, worldwide license to use Your Content, including the right to translate, alter, and modify Your Content, in all media, in connection with the Platform and our business activities, and you represent and warrant that (a) you have secured all rights and permissions necessary for us to do so without compensation to you or any third party and (b) Your Content does not violate the law or infringe upon any third-party rights.
You acknowledge and agree that (a) you are solely responsible and liable for Your Content, (b) we are under no obligation to host Your Content, and (c) we may remove Your Content at any time for any reason, including, without limitation, if we believe Your Content violates this Agreement or applicable law.
You may request removal of Your Content at any time. You must request the removal of Your Content if you no longer have the rights and permissions required by this Agreement. All such requests must be submitted via the Unified Support Portal.
As between you and us, you retain ownership rights in Your Content. Using the Platform does not give you ownership of or rights to any other Content posted by us or third parties.
4. Restrictions
You may not access, reproduce, download, distribute, transmit, broadcast, display, sell, license, alter, modify or otherwise use any part of the Platform or any Content, excluding Your Content, except with prior written permission from us and, if applicable, the respective rights holders. You may not circumvent, disable, fraudulently engage with, or otherwise interfere with any part of the Platform (or attempt to do any of these things), including security-related features or features that prevent or restrict the copying or other use of Content.
5. Privacy
By using the Platform, you acknowledge that any personal information that you provide will be maintained in accordance with the Privacy Policy. By using the Platform, you (a) grant to Polygon Labs the right to use your name, country of residence, email address and any other information you provided to Polygon Labs (“Personal Information”) for administrative purposes in connection with the Platform; (b) grant to Polygon Labs the right to use your Personal Information for publicity, promotional, marketing and advertising purposes relating to the Platform, in any and all media now known or hereafter devised, without further compensation unless prohibited by Applicable Law; and (c) acknowledge that Polygon Labs may disclose your Personal Information to its third-party agents and service providers in connection with any of the activities listed in clause (b) above. Polygon Labs will use your Personal Information only for the identified purposes and as contemplated in the Privacy Policy.
6. Disclaimer
OTHER THAN AS EXPRESSLY STATED IN THIS AGREEMENT OR AS REQUIRED BY LAW, THE CONTENT IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND POLYGON LABS DOES NOT MAKE ANY SPECIFIC COMMITMENTS, GUARANTEES, OR WARRANTIES ABOUT THE CONTENT, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION: (A) ABOUT ITS ACCURACY, ADEQUACY, COMPLETENESS, LEGALITY, RELIABILITY, VALIDITY, OR ABILITY TO MEET YOUR NEEDS; (B) THAT YOUR CONTENT OR ANY OTHER CONTENT WILL BE ACCESSIBLE ON THE PLATFORM; OR (C) THAT ANY PARTICULAR RESULT WILL BE OBTAINED FROM THIS AGREEMENT OR YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM OR CONTENT. WITHOUT LIMITING THE FOREGOING, THE PLATFORM MAY PROVIDE ACCESS TO CONTENT OWNED OR CONTROLLED BY THIRD PARTIES, WHICH POLYGON LABS DOES NOT ENDORSE AND FOR WHICH POLYGON LABS ASSUMES NO RESPONSIBILITY OR LIABILITY. USE OF ANY CONTENT OR OTHER INFORMATION YOU OBTAIN VIA THE PLATFORM IS DONE AT YOUR OWN RISK.
7. Changes
We reserve the right to change this Agreement at any time. Your continued use of the Platform after any such changes will mean that you accept and agree to the changes. It is your responsibility to check for changes to the Agreement where posted.
8. Miscellaneous
For clarity, all of the provisions of the Terms of Use apply to these Terms and all other documents constituting this Agreement, including the provisions regarding indemnification, disclaimers, limitation of liability, governing law, and arbitration. For purposes of interpretation, (a) the term “Services'' as used in the Terms of Use includes the term “Platform” as used in these Terms, (b) references to “using the Services'' or similar in the Terms of Use include “creating an account for the Platform,” “using the Platform,” or similar in these Terms, and (c) references in the Terms of Use to “these Terms of Use” are deemed to be references to these Terms and all other documents constituting this Agreement. This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between you and us regarding the subject matter contained in this Agreement and supersedes all prior or contemporaneous agreements or understandings.
