Village Builder Houses are on-ground support programs for founders to take advantage of the thriving crypto ecosystem through IRL workspaces! The Builder Houses are managed by teams within the Polygon ecosystem who bring years of experience as startup venture builders and can offer an abundance of support, access to a thriving ecosystem, and resources to support the launch of your crypto startup.
The goal of Village Builder Houses is to offer an IRL space for founders, hackers, builders, and crypto supporters like VC’s, operators, and community members to jam, network, and build their startups. The program is dedicated to supporting founders on their journey to build and launch great startups in Web3 and spur the growth of the Polygon ecosystem.
Yes. The IRL spaces offer co-working, on-the-ground networking opportunities, and curriculum- based cohort programs. You need to be on-ground to take advantage of the program.
Yes. The program is open to startups all across the globe. However, you will have to make your own travel and visa arrangements. We will help you find accommodation to live and work at the location for the duration of the program.
Only startups building in the Polygon Ecosystem are eligible to apply for the Builder House program.
Fundamental criteria to shortlist teams for the program include: projects that build exclusively on the Polygon protocols, have a working MVP, have some traction and a solid team; and teams and founders should be able to demonstrate strong market opportunity for growth.
No. The program does not provide any capital investment. However, successful teams admitted to the cohort will have access to VC’s and investors during the demo day. This will be a great opportunity to pitch your startup and raise money.
Yes. The only application criteria is for you to have a working prototype exclusively on the Polygon protocols, some traction, and a team. If you have been working on your startup for a while, and meet this criteria, you’re welcome to apply.
The program offers many benefits apart from fundraising. You’re welcome to apply if you meet the above criteria.
Yes. However, it is highly recommended your schedule be flexible to attend all sessions, workshops, and other events during the duration of the cohort.
No! All teams are welcome to apply.

Selected teams will be informed of acceptance approximately one week after applications close.
Feedback will not be given for every application; however, you will be informed if you are selected or not.
Yes. All startups need to have an MVP, some traction, and a team in place to be eligible to apply for a Builder House.
Village Builder Houses will offer you various perks such as free access to a co-working space, networking and engagement with startup operators, founders, VC’s, and Polygon ecosystem community members. Participants in the Village Builder House program are also eligible for various Polygon Village related benefits such as mentorship, discount vouchers, access to accelerators, and more.
